A picture is a thousand words…

Sometimes life is better celebrated in pictures, words are really too much, overwhelming at times especially in grief. I have been finding that lately, my words have gone silent. But I have found a way to talk again, to be still very much active in a creative way. Funny enough it has been through the media of Gluebooks.

Gluebooks are books filled to the brim with collaged pages. They can tell stories through the pictures, or they can be totally coloured themed. All I know is they have bern my saving grace during dark times of my grief.

One of my first gluebook pages

So far 24 Gluebooks have been filled to the brim with glossy and colourful pages. Many of my collage stash has been used as well as washi tape and collection of crafty stuff. It really does relax and focus me like nothing else, whether cutting out pics for my stash or simply compiling pics for a new spread, I have enjoyed it all. I guess to Dad would of been so very proud and of course very interested as well.

Love,love,love these collages…

I have found my own way to journal without any words at all.

Ciao for now Kitty-Kat xox And hope you have a great day xox
