Sometimes you need to have a little Faith , that life will turn out, even if it is beyond your control. Because funny enough when these trying moments happen in my life, usually the most magical things appear as well. Kinda a weird balance that often is quite random, but also just what I needed. Often we overlook these magical happenings, shrug them off, when really we should hang onto them as the precious gems they really are. But mostly we are too caught up midst the troubles that we are blind to any of this.

I recently saw this image on Facebook, accompanying an article about not letting yourself fade away, or disappear in this world and also your own life as well. We need to spend time on ourselves to keep our own light shining bright. To me that is my deeper relationship with God, my Faith keeps me going when often I have completely erased myself beyond any comprehension. To others it maybe something completely different, but that doesn’t matter as long as you keep your light alive.

I think also my mindset has changed throughout the years to realize that I need not have to fit into this world. I was made to be me, and so unique as I am, the world cannot and will not define or break me down. It has however taken me some time to accept that I am who I am. I guess the best song to define this would be “This is me” from the Greatest Showman. I guess what I am also trying to say, is you need not have to fit in.

Social media platforms have a lot to answer for, the way younger generations are defining themselves by these unrealistic expectations and images. I only hope that maybe they will find the truth and see the social media for what it really is.
