Since childhood going to Perth, or the city as we affectionately call Perth, has always been a great outing, usually consisting of the entire family. My Dad usually took time off to take us all up to the city. Toy shops, book stores and anything else that took our fancy. The main idea was to spend some quality time together as a family.

Flash forward here I am again back in the city, changing as it always is and will be. Dymocks bookstore where I spend an hour or maybe more just browsing the shelves, seeing what magical books I may come across. Louisa where I find the cutest rainbow earrings, that of course need to come home with me immediately, because I just have to have them. Overkill yes, but so me, magpie with shiny objects.

Lunch means Chinese at Mishanghai at Enex food court, don’t know why, but I love their food. Besides they have Pepsi max. Time to sit down and people watch for awhile, of course quick text to my brother Ashley so he knows where I am sitting. Then straight back to people watching, usually find my stories are way more exciting, than these people’s real life ever would be. Of course I go off track, but yes writing a blog post needs me to focus, however here comes my brother. Finish off later….

Great day in the city, yes it was quite a rainy day but everything looks more romantic in the rain.
