More Bunbury moments ..

Day two…

Windy @ lookout

Bunbury day two, means a lot of walking about and going up the lookout and seeing the amazing panorama of the inlet and ocean as well. I know it is July and winter time, but my goodness what fun I have been having here in seaside. Yes my hair is certainly more fizzy than normal, but hey sometimes you need to suffer when you are experiencing life’s adventures. It is cold, but I kinda love that, reminds me of being by the seaside in UK, even in the dead of winter. Where yes I did walk along the beach quite often, I actually find it clears my head and helps me to relax as well. The smell, the wind and the sound of the ocean centre me in mind and body.

I found a lovely cafe called Henry’s right down the street from my motel. Toasted sandwich of course was divine and warmed me up for my adventures to the lookout. The chai latte’s here are absolutely huge and I could so get used to them full stop. Honestly felt like I was drinking from a soup bowl, which early in the morning is probably a real good thing. The staff are wonderful people, no matter where I go, they truly can not do enough for me. And let’s just say the ham/cheese toastie is to die for indeed. Yes I know that I have already said that but it is soo

The weather was grey and quite windy, but the view was well worth it. A lot of stairs to climb, but hey when on holidays it is all good. I didn’t realize that I could see so far in every direction and truly my photos did not do it justice. The natural beauty around and in Bunbury is breathtaking and words cannot describe it.i truly feel blessed to be able to spend some quality time down here in the South West coast. It has been so very healing to spend endless hours by the ocean, Just the sound of waves and wind to keep me company.

I felt so at home in Bunbury, maybe because it reminds me so very much of Fremantle and also Rockingham when I grew up in the 1980’s. As well as being a place quite familiar with growing up and many a family trip. Bunbury also been a place of peace for me and also healing too. My first trip since Dad got really sick, and so feelings of anxiety and sadness did creep in when planning this trip away. But also I know that I need to push myself through these moments and realize what a wonderful experience I am now living. And being away maybe the best thing to happen to me. Just living my dream life.

It has been raining, but that really doesn’t matter to me, ‘ cos life down here is truly humbling experience and such a slower pace. I love watching the rain clouds roll in and think maybe I will just watch awhile longer. It is really no big deal to get just a little bit wet. Even the cold doesn’t bother me much, rugged up, but nothing like winter to keep you on your toes. Bunbury I feel has been made to enjoy the colder months.

Currently it is pouring down with rain, and I am safe in my motel room, looking out at the weather. Stormy night ahead and so not going out to dinner, instead order Uber eats instead. Watch the storm from my window view indeed, best seat in the house you could say.

Uber eats…

And so ends day two of my Bunbury adventures, adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox And hope you have a great day xox
