Bunbury adventures…

Day three..

Cafe moments…
Go to the water…always

It is hard to believe that it is day three of my trip to Bunbury, it feels so very surreal indeed, and yet very real too. I look over all the photos I have taken and kinda pinch myself that it is really me, here on holidays. I guess all that planning and booking, until you are here. This is now reality indeed. Of course most of my time is spent near or around the water, whether it be the sea, or the inlet or estuaries, that is where you will find me.

I love to see and feel the breeze on my face and in my hair, by the coast you feel it within your bones indeed. Yes it is in the middle of Winter, but I don’t care, it so makes me feel alive with nature. The Photos I have taken do not do the water scenery justice , it really is quite breathtaking indeed. Yes I could go on and on and I will probably do so for the rest of my travel blog posts. Bunbury is an amazing place for sure and I know now why I chose it for my getaway. It is a place of childhood memories and family holidays, but it also feels right place for me to explore and simply heal. It has been so long since I last travelled anywhere, and Bunbury was that magical place to me.

My day started at one of my many favourite coffee shops along what they call the cappuccino strip, Yes very much like Freo here in Bunbury and kinda why I like it’s charm so much. Very much like of Fremantle of old, not now, when I was a child in the 1980s. I did think about that for several hours yesterday, of what Bunbury reminded me of Freo indeed.

I had my usual Chai latte, in a mega mug which I am really gonna miss when I leave on Friday morning, these mugs certainly heavenly for any coffee lover indeed. The savory muffin was divine with butter and of course toasted to really be a delight. I justify all the food I have been eating on holiday as fuel, because I mainly walk around the place, so certainly getting my steps in, uphill at times too. The cafe is a place to people watch and just take in the whole atmosphere of the place and of Bunbury too. Many people come in to get their morning coffee, it seems so weird to me being on long service leave, and off they go to work or school, here I am just chilling out most of the morning. Thank goodness is all I can say.

My focus at the moment is chilling out and enjoying my holidays, no think of work or school at all. I have enjoyed keeping a photo diary of sorts on social media platforms though, keeps my creative side very much alive. It also helps others to see what I am up too. My Blog posts are more intimate though, my thoughts and feelings about it all. I feel really you can not say much in an Instagram post or Facebook post, whereas here in my blog I can go in-depth to what is happening here, not that there is anything wrong with social media platforms, they all have there merits and drawbacks. Journaling has been my main thing and this helps me create an online journal of sorts.

It maybe raining, but that just adds to the beauty of the city of Bunbury, I just get lost in my own world of photographing, what is around me. I love to take mainly photos of nature and people, but lately the ocean is my main subject, especially of this trip to the Southwest. Kinda easy when the scenery is so breathtakingly beautiful.

Ciao for now Kitty-Kat xox And hope you have a great day xox
