Free-form writing

Free to write how you wish too…
Quiet time writing in free-form …

I am not sure when I first started to write like this, free-form, where you write about a word, a sentence that trickles your fancy, or a quote that makes you wanna write away a page or two. I have a collection of notebooks just for this purpose, for years slowly writing away, page after page and often not in neat handwriting, nor make a lot of sense. Because this type of writing means just write and see where the mood takes you, after awhile you get better at it, and you also write more and more. Now for me it helps ground and settle me, it also helps me with my obsession to collect pretty and unusual words, sentences or anything else to do with words and writing them down.

Free-form writing is where a lot of my inspiration comes from to write bigger pieces and even a story or two. It is portable so can go anyway you go. It also helps me to fill up notebooks that are often rather empty and lonely on the bookshelf or packed away with the rest of my Crafty stash. Sometimes the notebooks themselves add character and depth, as well as a lot of ideas to keep within there pages.

I find that it also helps me to use up those collection of words, sentences and quotes you often have lying about. So instead of getting lost in a notebook page never to be seen again. They end up woven into a story or prose piece that ends up being remembered always. Maybe I don’t do free-form writing like everyone else but as always I made it all of my own style.

Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox And hope you have a great day xox
