Freo moments …

I love visiting coffee shops any time and in any kind of weather, hot chai latte in Winter and iced chai latte in Summertime. But always heading out to funky and tucked away places to read and just take in the scenery. Freo is one of my favourite places to go too. It was where I grew up and been a place I have always felt at home in. Time doesn’t mean a thing when you go to these places.

Today was such a day, I found a coffee shop that I had never been to before and end up loving it. I got a window seat and loved watching the passing parade going by. I guess the laid back vibes help me too. And great place to scribble away in my trusty journal as well as take a few happy snaps too.

The Chai latte is divine and full of lovely spices that make me think of faraway India where the drink comes from, not sure when it became my go too drink, but it sure is now. As I write this words, it has been some time since I was at this cafe, but hope during Summer holidays to go back, but than that to simply enjoy being a tourist in my own hometown. And what better place than Fremantle indeed.
