Summer days lately in February have been rather brutal, we just had 3 days over 42°c and school holidays are over. Now we are into March and still the heat will not quit, most Western Australians are kinda over Summer here in Perth. March usually would mean start of Autumn weather, but judging by the week long forecast for next week, that will not be very cooler weather just yet at all.

It has been a very fruitful summer though, in my opinion I have sent rather a lot of time at Freo’s Bather’s beach and also spent time down at Palm beach in Rockingham as well. I went swimming in a friend’s pool and spent time going on day trips to Freo library and Garden city to do some well needed retail therapy. So summer 23/24 has not been wasted at all.

A lot of the time has been spent reading and journaling as well as keeping cool and out of the hot weather. I have gotten quite a tan from a lot of gardening and just being outdoors. School has started and we are almost through too Easter holidays. Life with it’s trials is pushing along quite nicely.

I will not miss the brutal heat of Summer, but sad we will soon be into another season and time of the current year 2024. So adieu summer sky and days, I just know you will hang around just that little bit longer, before days become cooler and cozy yet again.
