I finally found Narnia, and it was in a lovely children’s bookshop in Fremantle, Western Australia. My brother told me about this place, but to see it in reality is so much more breathtaking indeed. If you are a Narnia fan like me, a child, or an adult, you definitely need to experience this place. My inner child jumped at the chance to step through the wardrobe into another world, if that was full of books and goodies. Of course, many photos were snapped away on my phone, and I had trouble focusing for a while. You truly felt like you had stepped through the famed wardrobe into Narnia, alas no forest or streetlamp to guide you.
I have to say as a child, “The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe” by C.S. Lewis was my favourite book, I read a lot of it by myself with a little help from my parents. It was truly a magical place, and I did pretend my very own wardrobe at the time was a gateway to Narnia. This bookshop has all the children’s books you could want and then some. Now that I have found this hidden gem, I will certainly be visiting again and again.
I just wanted to spread a little magic into our often dark world.
Adieu, for now and see you reak soon.
