Gardening vibes

Spinach has sprung…

Veggie patch is happening at the moment. Everything is growing like mad, and I am absolutely thrilled with it all. The rains have finally started after a very dry autumn season. Now, the weeds have popped up, but along with the seeds, I have planted when the rain broke finally.  I have planted a lot of flowers in the front as well as in pots. It is exciting to see seedlings pop out of bare soil.

My poppies are growing in the pot, so well, and can not wait to see their red blooms. I also put poppies in the front garden, which will look amazing come spring. I have always loved poppies since I read the poem “On Flanders Fields” when I was a teenager in English class. Ever since then I loved to grow poppies in memory of fallen soldiers past and present.

Poppies going well…

My poppies have made me smile. They are really growing well and can not wait to see them bloom real soon šŸ˜„ Gardening has helped me a lot with both grief and depression as well as helping me keep fit as well. The garden is in winter dormancy, but still plenty to do.

Potatoes šŸ„”Ā  harvest …

I have just recently harvested my potatoes and am so happy with the results, I also learnt a lot from the experience too. It’s time to enjoy my rewards.

Adieu, for now, me and enjoy your day xox
