Today has been rather slow, but lazy kind of day. Accidentally got up late, but I clearly needed the rest. I am currently in the middle of a rather hot summer here in Perth, Western Australia, and so after quite a few really hot days, sleep becomes quite fleeting indeed. So, being able to sleep really well ended up overstepping. It’s Sunday, is what I said to my mum. There is nothing to get up to, but just endless time on our hands, unlike the rest of the week.
Watering the front garden is quite restful, my time to listen to the birds and breeze in the tree tops. My quiet time to be with my God. I love to check out what things are slowly growing from last to this early in the new year. Summer means less rainfall, but we were lucky to have a wet day on Saturday.
I then, after morning tea of coffee and pink lamington, I took some things to my studio and pottered about, disturbed a spider, but humanely set him out of harms way. Then, I collected colouring in a book to do at night in front of Telly. I also got pencils and crayons together.
After lunch and chattering to family, quiet afternoon of YouTube videos as seasbreeze came through my open window. It was lovely to chill out and just be in the moment. Enjoying the seabreeze after the heatwave of last week, the cooler weather helps reset me for the current week to come.

Adieu, for now, Kitty-kat xox
