Garden diary

Sunflower garden…
More blooms…

It has been a lovely start to springtime. A lot of my flowers are out, and I even got a few surprises with cornflowers coming out, too. It makes me happy every time I go out and potter in the garden. Lawns have been mowed, and the gardener has sprayed weeds on the driveway, so I’m looking photo ready. I have weeds in the front garden to take care of, but that is manageable for me.

I have really planted out the side garden and loving the trailing nasturtiums in many colours dotted about the place. They are one of my favourite flowers for sure. It has really been a funny spring this year, more of a truer one than we usually see here in Perth, Western Australia . It’s more a springtime you would see in UK than anywhere else.

I m enjoying the rainy days along with the warmer sunny days and know soon it will be very hot summer instead. But gardening is all about the  seasons, and you can not have a garden without them all.

Adieu, for now, Kitty-kat xox
