Summertime is almost over, but it feels as if it’s got a good couple of weeks left if I am honest. School is back, but working 3 days is heavenly and also a better balance for me to switch off. Summer has been hot lately, but a cyclone from up north has led to cooler temperatures and even some rain. So the weather has been rather good. Yes still humid some days and hot, but bearable in all.

Getting out and about, a lot of gardening as well. I mostly check in with pot plants every couple of days. But so far so good, the garden is coping with the weather. I am busy planning new garden beds and mulching to do in the next couple of weeks. I also enjoy time in Freo and just staring at the blue sky if I am totally honest. I am getting into the new norm and loving it, it is scary, but rewarding all the same.

Coming weeks day trips to favourite beaches and places to simply enjoy while the sun and good weather is upon us. Pretty soon it will be cooler and wetter days for cozy times instead. But let us not wish away summer just yet.
