This has to be one of my favourite movies and what better time to watch then on Christmas day. So many of my favourite English actors like Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy and Andrew Lincoln, as well as many more. It’s written by Richard Curtis one of the best comedy writers in the UK. Although it’s more than that it is a story about love that never fails to make me smile.
It’s kinda like that movie you watch when you need a big warm hug. You forget about all the worries of the world and sit back and enjoy the simple things, and of course Hugh Grant dancing around number ten.
The people are real and the feel good message about love and family is a great way to celebrate Christmas or any day really. I also love the scenes in arrival lounges where people are waiting and the joy when they see that special person they have been anxiously been looking out for. It reminds me of my travels and picking out family when I get off the plane and go through the gates.
Love Actually is apparently fifteen years old, when did that happen it feels like only yesterday to me. How time flies at one time and yet not others. It still is a great movie no matter how old it is.
Merry Christmas to you all in blogosphere
