It has been a while, and I did finish my very first book journal, and so I guess it is time to start anew with another one, but first, why not write a blog post about it. A book journal is probably not what you think it is entirely. Yes, it is about books, but also more than that, it is about the love of reading, books and collecting them as well. It is about my history with books and those who have influenced me and my book loving self.
My book journal is filled with reading stories and library moments and bookshops galore that I have visited this whole wide world over. I wanted my journal to be more than just books read, that is be done already, no I wanted to push it into something else entirely.
Books have been a very big part of my entire life, and so more book journal pages need to be so much more, not just lists, but entire worlds and spans of my lifetime, from young to older.

I love to collect anything book related as well as book art too. Book marks, sticky notes, and anything else I could possibly stuff in between the pages of my journal. I love quotes and lists to do with books and also collect stuff on libraries that I have visited as well as ones that I would love to see. To me, it is a book journal that is more than just the act of reading books. It is the whole package to be able to fully emerge myself in everything book-related indeed. And of course, it’s a good excuse to make up a journal.

I have had such a wonderful time completing this journal and already onto my next one. I hope this blog post will encourage other’s to do the same. No matter your interest or hobby maybe.Â
Adieu, for now, Kitty-kat xox
