It’s funny I’ve been watching a lot of English crime shows lately, mainly Midsomer Murders, which even though I’ve seen most many times it’s still good to lose yourself for a couple of hours. The scenes of beautiful countryside makes you want to jump on a plane to the UK immediately, although living in those villages you would think twice because of the murder rate. Still with Jonesy on the case I wouldn’t mind. I know it was what I saw regularly before going to the UK to live and work, thankfully no murders in the village I settled in.

Silent witness, Morse, Lewis, Poirot and many more capture my imagination and keep me turning on my telly or tablet to lose myself in the English countryside, with a little murder on the side.
