Lately I have been getting back into my Pinterest account, finding more and more things to expand my journaling creativity. Yes I also get lost in other avenues, but try to get myself back on track. I just love the way Pinterest, collects everything I need for any possible interest I might have in one place.

And my goodness, I did not realize how many boards I actually had on my Pinterest account either. It has helped me find a lot more journaling prompts, especially when I feel like my journaling is getting rather stale in the delivery of it. Sometimes I just need a change of scenery, and Pinterest helps me with that, it also helps keep me up to date with what other journaler types ideas.

It never hurts to try something completely different too, and with journaling there are no hard or fast rules. You can pretty much make them up as you go along, which is good to be so flexible. I feel too much rules can be awfully crippling to your writing voice, especially when you are already struggling, in a rut. I also love my journal to be made up with a lot of different materials not all the same, very much how I live my own life too.

So thank you Pinterest for being a writer’s best friend.
