Yes even I am guilty of procrastination from time to time, like when you have a mountain of photos and journal spreads to fill out, and yet instead you finish a book. In today’s world we are all adaptive in the art of procrastination, it is pretty much an art form, and probably in the future, there will be degrees to be studied, in finding the meaning of it all.
I don’t like to be doing nothing, in fact people who know me, know that I in fact rarely sit still long enough, for anything, even time itself rarely finds me waiting. I am always one step ahead of time itself, curious and ever wanting to know answers, even when not sure of the exact questions being asked.
And yet even I am bitten by the procrastinating bug, and find myself now, finishing off blog posts that were ready days ago. Maybe it is the bright Summer weather outside that distracts me ? Or could it be I just got bored with what I was blogging about ? All I know is procrastinating is real and yet sometimes it can be just what the Doctor has ordered. It makes you take a break or maybe hold off a blog post because it might of been really quite bad.
Anyway after that brief period of procrastination, I find myself journaling a lot more and yes my blogging mojo has returned, so maybe it was all for the best.
I have even caught up with journal pages and yes even my Fauxbonichi spreads too. So goodbye procrastinating and hello creative abundant me instead.
Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox
I’m happy your back, Kylie! I also get the procrastination bug every now and then. I really like this quote: “I in fact rarely sit still long enough, for anything, even time itself rarely finds me waiting. I am always one step ahead of time itself, curious and ever wanting to know answers, even when not sure of the exact questions being asked.” I love how you describe that one can be a step ahead of time with curiosity. 💖💖💖
