Self-isolation day eight

Today marks a week and a day since going into self isolation because of having a comprised immune system weaken due to Chemotherapy. And the sun is still shining and birds are still singing. I am still smiling and finding like many others in the same situation adjusting to the new norm of daily life. Yes it is hard at times and yes I do get bored, but then again boredom leads to great creativity within us all.

Boredom helps me think …

I updated my apps on my phone, and got rid of apps no longer needed. As well as checked emails, and now writing my daily blog post. All before 12 funny how the days roll into one another, Friday usually a day celebrated end of working week. Now simply another day to check off the calendar and move on.

Days roll into one…

I watched childhood favourite tv series called “The A- team” just now and brought back good times. Now finishing off my Blog post before I publish it soon. A little later than usual but I was taking some time out for me. It has been rather cold today as well, even though the sun is still shining.

Sunshine

I have currently been reading my Bible as well, and found great comfort in these trying times.

Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox

love your insight “the sun is still shining and birds are still singing. I am still smiling and finding like many others in the same situation adjusting to the new norm of daily life.” so true that we must find ways to see the beauty of life & to find reasons to smile & to adjust to the new normal šŸ’›šŸ’›šŸ’›
