Self-isolation day ten

I’ve just had a lunch of a lovely pastie that really to me is the ultimate comfort food for me. The lovely smell of veggies and meat all in a lovely parcel of goodness. Still in self isolation and yes still here as well. I have been creating my very own Prayer journal, as well as writing in my Fauxbonichi and cutting up old magazines for journal spreads. Yes simply goes on for me, a little bit different but still onwards not backwards.

Our weather is very much up in the air..Summer and Autumn seem to be in a mortal battle at the moment. Today typical Autumn weather, rainy and gloomy and yet tomorrow in the mid 30’s with sunny periods. Go figure hey… I am looking forward to full rainy and gloomy weather patterns very soon. Funny how the weather consumes you when you can not go out of the house ?

I did my exercise around back and front yard as well as looking at the garden too. Little things make me happy, as well as slower pace of living really suits my nature. My writing has come to the forefront at the moment and I have all the time in the world to spend doing it. To me however it has never been about being a chore, if anything to write and to journal is my life’s delight. I am always thinking what to write about, or where I can fit my Blog posts and journaling in.

I miss my students and fellow workers at the local school I work at, but hey it’s not forever. This trial will pass and we will learn from the lessons here and now. I long to give my good friends hugs, but alas no go zone. I wish that above all else, human contact and touch. Anyway enjoy your weekend wherever you may be in the blogosphere and talk too you real soon.

Be sure to leave me a comment and I will reply to you. Give me any ideas to pass the time in Self isolation ? Or maybe just let me know to give you a shout out from here in Perth Western Australia.

Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox

Autumn blooms…
Weekend…put your feet up 😘
Beautiful form..

Hugs to you Kat here in USA Indiana. We are staying home to do our part as well in the midst of this. Beautiful words of life. Going on 3 weeks since they canceled schools and my kids have done the same, workouts, home garden, painting, fixing things around the house,. Putting more time on the blog. Learning how to create my own audio journal or podcast. We shall see… I’d love to own an urban Kindness Book store so, while we have this downtime -that’s what I’m giving my heart to. Hugs again my dear friend! 🙂

      Good question Andrea…
I have been writing and telling stories right from when I could talk…My Mum thinks I was a born writer. I love to use very descriptive imagery in my Blog posts and journaling etc. I really love to have people fall into my words like I used too when I read as a child. That wonder really drives me now as an adult and educator of young children.
My thoughts on the writing process would be everyone is different in what drives or motivates them. I feel it comes from within but also through my journey of life and the universe and God as well.
I sometimes feel that I am merely a vessel for the story to be told through
      ..

I can see your love for descriptive imagery! Also, I second your mom on you being a born writer, your voice always shines through your blog posts. So true on the importance of keeping child-like wonder, and how the writing process “comes from within but also through my journey of life and the universe and God as well”. Thank you for sharing your thoughts & experiences on writing. Happy writing!
        Cheers Andrea xox
