Life can be hard and tough sometimes,  and then it can be a kailescope of colours so rich and vibrant,  that make your heart truly sing. I am having that kind of life at the moment,  hard but then magical all the same. Work can be rewarding, but also utterly exhausting. Being an educational assistant is such a multifaceted job nowadays.  You are all things to all people, and feel yourself being pulled in 24 directions with 24 students who need you. But there are times when you get a breakthrough and feel on top of the world. Nobody can understand unless you walk the shoes of an educational assistant. They are often lonely places few people understand. 

I am a very empathic person and give my all. Some say it’s a weakness,  but also a superpower.  I reach my students where often nobody else can. I guess trauma understands and sees itself in others. It means you see your students as people, and often, they are unseen by everyone else around them sad, but true.
