Well week two of the new school term and the Kindys are getting into the swing of things. We had mass production this week putting together Mother’s day gifts and cards. The Kindys enjoyed making cards, doing handprints as well as having a go at writing their name. The Pre-Primarys were not forgotten they drapped paint around a heart template, also making pasta necklaces for their Mums. It all went home today, and we can have a sigh of relief, before we have Father’s day in September.
Everybody went home with smiles on their faces and stories to tell. Then I ended my day making playdough for Monday, and it all starts over again. The life of an Kindy aide, not quite glamorous as a movie star, but never ever dull moment to be had. I love my job and love working with such a great bunch of kids. Yes it is full on at times, and can be quite demanding, but I wouldn’t want to do anything else in my life.
Adieu for now

I teach 11-13 year-old children, so it’s interesting how our days look a bit different. My kiddos don’t get to do all of these fun arts and crafts activities 😊 I sometimes think about how my life at school feels so unglamorous and anything but perfect, but I think the funny, happy, and learning moments make the job worth it! 💛✨

I agree with you there, maybe we teach different aged children, but they can still make you laugh and realize why you do this job 💖💖💖
