Here in Australia today we celebrate Mother’s day, it has been a pretty gorgeous day with blue skies and no rain in sight. It was a lovely chance to spoil my Mum, by treating her and Dad to morning tea at Miami bake house in Melville. After walking about the Carpark Melville markets, where Mum got a few goodies as well as some plants for the garden, a couple of geraniums.

We gave Mum her gifts after we came home, and I gave her a journal of her own from Dylusions Ranger MTN, along with a bag of goodies to go with it. I can not wait to see what Mum will come up with. The boys gave her beautiful cards and a little bit of money for Mum to spoil herself with. Then the rest of the day Mum could spend taking it easy and simply enjoy a well deserved break.

I am forever grateful for a Mum like mine. She is my rock and keeps me grounded when life has been cruel to me. I always know Mum has my back and loves me no matter what happens in my life. Mum has seen me go through Chemotherapy and cancer twice and has never wavered with her support and love. So I have no problem devoting a whole day to her, after all the things she has given me over the years. After all you only have one Mum and I wouldn’t change mine for anything.
