Today my Bestie and I, along with her three Grandchildren went to AQWA which is an amazing aquarium here in Perth, Western Australia. I haven’t been for years, but this was a lot of fun for kids as well as adults. The underwater walkway goes out quite far into the actual ocean and surprisingly I didn’t get freaked out by it at all. I guess there was way too many things to see, including stingrays, sharks, turtles and lots of fish. My Bestie and I had a whale of a time no pun intended, the kids loved it too and we spent quite a few hours there.

Yes it was rather packed, but perfect way to spend a rather rainy day in the school holidays. I took quite a few photos and videos which was a lot of fun. After the aquarium we all went to McDonald’s which was a great hit with everyone. Us adults got to chat while the kids played in the very small McDonald’s playground. Lots of handstands and cartwheels by one of them. It was great to spend some time with my friend and get to know her lovely grandkids.
