Starting a new journal

My new journal

As I say farewell to one journal, it is hello to another, who will share the next couple of months with me and my life. I am not so sure if I have told you dear readers, that I am a very driven journaler, and almost have a need to write about, my every day life and other things dear to me.

I truly feel sad and almost can not function, without first journaling a little first thing in the morning. It has now become a very important part of my daily routine. I feel to that I can write myself through any problem by simply sitting down with my journal and a pen to write with. I don’t need much when I am in the flow of journaling, which sometimes means my penmanship may be a little messy to say the least. But my thoughts move like lightning, and so messy writing is a little price I am may pay, it isn’t a major fault though.

My new journal is very different from my old one, size wise and the fact it has a lot of pages half decorated. It isn’t a huge problem and I usually will make my own mark within it. The colours on the pages, are what drew me to it in the first place, at local Dymocks bookstore in the city. They are all the colours from one hue to the next and I feel that will go well now we are going into the warmer months here in Perth, Western Australia.

To me as well, it is a good thing to shake up what journals I use, and not always use the same one time after time. I would get extremely bored if I journaled like that for sure. I also need space for my creative flair to ignite and come through. I feel like I am writing in circles, but my journaling is very important to me.

I am sure you will soon see inside my new journal, and I will be sure to update you all in my journey in journaling. Funny that journal and journey start with the same five letters ? I didn’t notice that until just now. Anyway it’s getting late here in Perth, so I will simply say “Adieu”.
