I didn’t make the 50,000 word count, but have learnt a lot about writing, and taking part in the challenge. My word count stands at 20,500 and I am rather proud of myself for that total, and carrying on my writing, even though the NaNoWri challenge finished yesterday on the 30th of November 2019. It has made me realize, that I can achieve anything I put my mind too.
I will continue to write about my travels and living in UK as a Nanny in rural English countryside. I feel it is something that I ever much need to do, not only for myself, but I feel my story needs to be heard and those happy memories relived by me. Those carefree times, when I was younger, and took on the world with my strength, and also my shining smile.
Before I knew about Cancer, and how it would rock the entire foundations, to my very core you could say. Writing has always been my way of coping with life, and all the messy bits that tend too darken the light. Happy times can help you get through the pain in the end. We all need a little Faith.
Thank you so much for your kind words, and support during my NaNoWri challenge, and hope to do it again come next November for sure.
Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox
I love the realization that “you can achieve anything you put your mind too”. Congrats on all of your hard work!! What a beautiful experience to reminisce about life! You’re giving me the idea of joining you next Nov.! We’ll see how busy/not busy I’m then, since Nov. was quite an exhausting month this year before that one-week break. It sounds like a challenge I’m ready to try! ✨✨✨
