Bible journaling

Word of God full of such love …

On my current break from social media platforms, I found myself diving into my Bible and really reading and journaling in God’s word. It also had me read all the books from Genesis to Joshua, and currently on Book of Judges, and really finding myself calmer and also at peace. I have also learnt a lot, and found my Faith grow deeper with every step I take. I feel it is for sure my right path, and I have found myself again after time quite lost indeed.

My Bible has been growing day by day, with post it notes and my scribbles all over the pages. I am such a big notetaker and it has found my Bible having it’s very own cover, ready for anything. It also keeps my Bible safe as well as very stylish, and ready to take wherever I go. And I do take my Bible everywhere with me, you never know, when you may have a moment or two to dive into God’s word.

My new Journaling Bible cover…

Footprints in the sand is one of my favourite verses..hence the reason behind my Bible cover having the same well loved verse. It is a constant reminder to me, that God carries me when I can no longer walk. He never abandons me or leaves me to the darkness. It is an image that sticks me my mind always, with God you can weather any storm.

It has taken me some time to finish this blog post, again I have been off studying the bible and feel God’s strength guide me. I have had a lot of time off social media platforms as well, and funny enough do not miss Facebook or Instragram at all.

I have needed the time to be still, and live my life, my way, away from the glare and spotlight of the world. This year has been an wake up call, and I do not attend to go back to my old ways and habits. It is funny that a major world crisis can make you really refocus your life and your ways entirely.

Ciao for now Kitty-Kat xox

I love the footprints in the sand verse, too! It’s good to hear that reading the bible has helped you feel calmer, at peace, learn, and helped your faith grow. One of my favorite lines from your post: “with God you can weather any storm.” I hope you’re doing well my friend! πŸ•ŠοΈ
