Holiday feel

Chillaxing….

It is late Monday afternoon and I am home from a day of shopping and chilling at Garden city a shopping centre near me. I spent quite a lot of time in the bookshop Dymocks, it was fun to simply stroll up and down the aisles no real agenda in mind. I wasn’t in a hurry to go anywhere or meet anyone, it was just me and so many lovely books. I picked out several books for myself and even one on embroidery for my Mum. I found one of the books I had gotten as an e-book and fell in love with it so I brought a hard copy of it. It was blissful to simply wander up and down the shelves, reading book spines and picking up and flipping through the pages.

Booklovers heaven…

Books are my happy place and today I simply needed to spend some time amongst them. I also got some other cards and metallic highlighters as well after I went to a few more shops. The bookshop however was purely for pleasure and to walk amongst the books. It wasn’t too crowded either so you could just take your time, a lot of children were also reading in corners, or choosing holiday reading.

A girl has got to SHOP…

Kmart I got myself a few greeting cards which I use in my journals and other place. Gratitude journal also fell into my basket as well, so cute and yes I do need another journal, before you ask. Christmas decorations are in the store and they have the cutest little Santa gnomes you have ever seen, sooo cute 😍😍😍 I may have to go back for those.

Newagency I looked at magazines and stationery goodies. A few cards found their way into my hand, as well as some metallic highlighters I have been wanting forever. They were the last ones, and so I was extremely happy about that find. There was no plan just to look and shop here and there. I was simply having a day out for me, funny enough I don’t mind spending time, or going out by myself.

I ended up in the food court, and having KFC where I just quietly ate and people watched, one of my favourite pastimes. It was simply a chilled day out, no rushing or panic, just chilling. After lunch a little grocery shopping, some rolls for dinner and found washi tape at Coles which was an awesome score indeed.

Then it was time to leave and off I went to go ride on the bus into Fremantle, but that my friends in the blogosphere will be another blog story to come.

Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox And hope you have a great day xox
