My Fashion through the years…

Journal page…
Off the cuff kinda journal page…

I love getting images from magazines to use in my journals, this one came from an old Teen Breathe magazine I had. I just loved the image of converse sneakers, that I am sure I wasn’t the only one to have as a teenager. Mine were of course red, and pretty much saw me through the ups and downs of high school life in the late 80’s, early 90’s. I am sure many of you out there in the blogosphere can relate 😉

I did not have a clue what I would do on this journal page, it stayed pretty much blank, except for adding ripped paper here and there. As most of my journal pages do they start with a tiny spark of an idea and then, off they go taking me on this time a trip down memory lane.

What better way than the shoes and clothes you used to wear nearly every single day. As teenagers seem to do, I guess nothing really changes there. Only we had no smartphones just regular cameras, and of course our very own nostalgia for the past. I guess too our teenage years are slightly magnified, a time of great growth, pain and discovery.

Funny how what you start out to blog ends up somewhere quite differently.

I only did a few shoes and clothes, mainly red converse sneakers, Doc Marten boots, fluro socks and jelly shoes, bubble skirts and black band belts and lastly fluro leg warmers, than have become a firm favourite over Winter months. I think maybe I will do another of these pages, because it could take me to other memories.

Thank you Teen Breathe magazine for such great pictures to use, making my journal Technicolor 😍😍😍 Journal prompts can pretty much take you anywhere in the world of personal timelines included. I love how I can use anything to journal with, that is why I love doing it so much. I get to be so creative as well as write to my heart’s content.

Adieu for now Kitty-Kat xox And hope you have a great day xox
