I have gotten really into Indie music scene lately, found some wonderful hidden gem on Spotify to enjoy and vibe to you could say. Hollow Coves is one of my favourite bands at the moment as well as Novo Amor and Paper Kites to name a few. I just love the gentle guitar and folksy kind of vibe the music gives to me. Calms me down and helps me relax and sleep better for it.

I guess growing up in late 70’s and early 80’s hearing a lot of The Eagles and Jackson Browne type music greatly influences me now in what I want to listen to. Don’t get me wrong I am a pop, boy band, 1980’s girl as well, just that I always had a wide range of likes with music.

The Indie style just let’s me be more creative and able to write and draw a lot more. Not so in your face, than some music can be, when I am journaling I need that more chilled out groove, to loud and full of lyrics that totally overwhelm my process at times.

I feel too that I am on some magical road trip even though I haven’t left my room at a all, that is a lovely feeling indeed. Music to me is not only listening to, but also the whole ambivalence of an actual experience of your whole body and senses.

Anyway off to listen to more music….
